Security

The intermittent vacuum therapy (-IVT-) with the VACUMED®-device is a secure form of therapy based on the extensive experience in space medicine (Neurolab, DLR, NASA) and the studies from the field of vascular medicine, rehabilitation and sports medicine.

This procedure is not applied in case of:

  • Acute phlebothrombosis (< eight weeks)
  • Acute infections in the area of treatment
  • Pregnancy
  • Acute hernia
